Personal data protection statement
Termometal d.o.o. pays special attention to the protection of personal data of its clients. In accordance with the General Regulation on the Protection of Personal Data of the European Union, as well as the Act on the Protection of Personal Data and other legal regulations of the Republic of Croatia, we collect only the most necessary personal data of users necessary for the performance of our obligations arising from inquiries, requests for the preparation of offers and orders and sales contracts with to our customers. In situations where the client has given appropriate permission/permission for this, the data will also be used for the purposes of marketing campaigns related to the offer of products and services from the company's offer.
All personal data of our users is secured by organizational and technical protection against unauthorized access, modification, dissemination or deletion. Personal data is strictly kept and is available only to employees who need this data to perform their work. All employees of Termometal d.o.o. as well as business partners who participate in the process of buying and selling goods and providing services to our customers are obliged to respect the principles of privacy and protection of personal data.
Our customers and users of our services have the right to receive information about the handling of their personal data and to send us requests to exercise their rights.

Purposes and legal basis of personal data processing
We use your personal data exclusively for the purpose of complying with our legal obligations, making and delivering offers, concluding and fulfilling sales contracts, delivering goods to customers, fulfilling your other requests, and for our own marketing and improving our service to our customers and other users.
We do not forward personal data to unauthorized persons or organizations, nor do we use them for any other, unforeseen and illegal purposes.
We process personal data in accordance with the General Provisions on Data Protection and the applicable laws of the Republic of Croatia.
Contexts in which personal data is processed
Central customer base
We store personal data in our central database when our users ask questions, request an offer, conclude a contract or create a user profile on the www.termometal.hr web store. For the stated purposes, we collect the following data:
- name and surname
- residential address
- address for delivery of goods
- e-mail address
- phone / mobile number
- information about goods and services
- information about the payment method
In order to make an offer or conclude a contract, we need at least your name, surname and residential address. To issue an offer for the purpose of contracting a consumer loan and to issue R1 invoices to craftsmen and self-employed persons, we also need your OIB. When making a purchase in the web store www.termometal.hr, we also need your e-mail address and the address for delivery of the goods (if it is different from the address of residence).
The collection and processing of the aforementioned data is necessary, and without them it is not possible to conclude or fulfill the contract, as well as the execution of other requests of our users.
The central database of customers is, if necessary, available to authorized employees at the headquarters of Termometal d.o.o.. Depending on your requirements, the type of procedure, contract or service, other collected data, such as your inquiries, complaints, etc., may be available or exchanged with the specified authorized employees within our company.
Managing the database of our customers is based on the legitimate interests of Termometal d.o.o. to improve the quality of services and business efficiency, and at the same time facilitates compliance with regulations on personal data protection related to the accuracy and transferability of personal data. In doing so, we also took into account the interests of our customers, and through the exchange and availability of data in our departments, we enabled:
- complaints, exchange and return of goods

The HT PayWay online payment platform is certified according to the security standard of the highest category PCI DSS Level 1, thus meeting the strictest requirements for safe processing and handling of card data and their storage. For the purpose of realizing our claims against card issuers (banks), we receive the following information from the HT PayWay platform after the transaction: first and last name of the cardholder, type of credit card (Maestro, Master Card, Visa...), installment number for the authorized transaction, order reference (number), currency reference, transaction amount and authorization number.
Delivery of goods to the buyer's address
When delivering the goods to the customer's address, we will forward the personal data of the contact person for receiving the goods (name and surname, address and phone number) that we received from the customer when sending the order to our logistics partners in order to deliver the goods according to the customer's request. Web hosting
Our web shop application and database, as well as the application for managing communication with users (help desk), are located on the web server (server) of our business partner for the area of software. The provider of the application and database hosting service on the Internet server (web hosting) does not process the personal data of our users, but only performs the necessary technical operations in order to enable the smooth operation of the system (technical maintenance). From time to time, we backup and download databases from the servers of the aforementioned service providers and store them on our local server with the maximum application of technical protection measures against unauthorized access and use of these databases. User registration at www.termometal.hr
User registration on the web store www.termometal.hr is not mandatory. If the user still decides to register a user profile on our web store, the following are required for registration: first and last name, e-mail address, password, residential address and phone number. A registered user profile allows you to use the advanced functionalities of the web store, access your shopping cart from different devices, view the history of orders and a better user experience. The above data, except for the password, which is stored in an encrypted (encrypted) form, is available to our employees exclusively for the purpose of processing orders that you have concluded in the web store.
You can also connect the registered user profile on the web store www.termometal.hr to your profiles on social networks, such as Facebook, Google or Twitter. Connecting to profiles from fruit networks enables you to register in the www.termometal.hr web store easier and faster. Termometal d.o.o. does not have access to your profiles and passwords on social networks, nor do we provide your personal data stored with us to these social networks.
Recipients of personal data
We deliver your personal data to the following business partners exclusively in accordance with the laws and depending on the type of processing:
- banks and online payment service providers
- logistics, delivery and postal services
- providers of IT services, in terms of technical support, software development and maintenance
- web hosting and cloud software service providers
- suppliers and contractors
Personal data storage periods
We store the personal data of our users as long as there is a purpose or legal obligation to store and process such data:
- personal data of the registered user profile: until the profile is closed
- contractual documentation and accounting documents: 11 years (according to accounting regulations)
- claims and compensation claims: 10 years (according to statute of limitations)
- customer support inquiries: 3 years
If there is a tax liability for some type of data, which is required for the execution of a sales contract, the storage period is extended to 10 years in accordance with tax regulations and the processing of such data is limited during this period.
If the same data is used for several different purposes, we store such data until the expiration of the latest storage period. We stop using said data for the purposes for which the shorter retention period has expired.
At the end of all retention periods, your personal data are irreversibly anonymized and we can keep them as such without restrictions, or they are permanently deleted or destroyed, depending on the nature of the data record.
Rights of respondents
Our users have the following rights in terms of collecting and processing personal data:

- the right to delete (forget) your personal data
